Pleasures await you by the seashore.

Or so my fortune cookie says.  We had chinese food tonight (I know, totally ruining our plan of emptying out our fridge before the move...) and my fortune cookie seems very optimistic about our move.  Hopefully it is true!  Only 36 hours until the movers are here clearing out our apartment and packing up all of our stuff.   It's going to be so weird to all of a sudden just have it gone.  Unfortunately it's going to take the moving company quite a few days to transport our goods down to Summerville, so we will be wasting some time before heading out of town.  We're thinking at this point we may not head out until Thursday morning.  We'll see.

We spent our new year's hanging out with friends, and saying a few goodbyes.  Both Tate and I have felt really drained lately just because the whole upcoming week or two is going to be pretty exhausting and overwhelming.  We are going to spend tomorrow seeing some of our family and getting ourselves packed for our trip down, we'll have to take alot with us in the car since we'll be without the rest of our stuff for 7-10 days.  Here's hoping Jace does well in the car on the way down.  He's never had to sit in a car for several hours at a time before.  I'm hoping it's just a chance for him to catch up on sleep. (Wishful thinking I know...) We're going to have to research what route we're going to take on the way down and see if there are any places we have to stop and check out on the way.  Since neither of us like driving long distances, we'll have to try to make the best of it!

We will try our best to keep you updated on our trip down and let you know once we've made it down safely... (and gotten internet hooked up!)  We'll also post pictures or a video of our new house and what we do to it to make it feel like home.  Oh, and by the way, it was 70 degrees in Summerville today.  Sounds pretty good right now!
