Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing you and your family the best today!  We had a super relaxing day at home as a family.  Our friend Dano is also down here visiting us, and today is his birthday... so it's an extra special day.  We spent the day making coffee and homemade doughnuts for breakfast (amazing by the way, I'll never buy doughnuts again...), and a huge thanksgiving feast with all the traditional dishes like turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, hawaiian rolls, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, corn, pumpkin pie, etc... needless to say we're stuffed and enjoying being lazy now that Jace is in bed!  I will share some pictures soon.

On Thanksgiving it's nice to take a minute and think of all the things that we've been blessed with. Today I am thankful for:  A warm and cozy home with a comfortable bed to sleep in, amazingly delicious food in the fridge, and plenty of clothes to wear, books to read, and toys to play with.  My own little family to spend holidays and everyday with.  New friends in South Carolina that have made our cross-country move so much easier, and old friends and family in Minnesota that make it hard to leave when we visit.  Peppermint mocha coffee, christmas music, childhood tree ornaments, and all the other things that make this time of year so nostalgic.  A freshly potty trained toddler who just so happens to steal my heart everyday with his sweetness... and about a million other things!  Happy Thanksgiving!
