It's been a while since I updated on what we've been up to. We've definitely been enjoying this fall weather in South Carolina! It's finally a little cool in the mornings and still warm (or hot!) and sunny during the day. My favorite part of the weather cooling down is finally being able to enjoy the outdoors again. We've been going on lots of walks and to the park often. For being such an active little boy, Jace is totally happy to be strapped into his stroller on a long walk... so we try to go at least once a day for a little while. Jace is like a puppy when he hears the word "walk". He will run around the house excitedly grabbing his stuffed animals and shoes and standing at the door. He HAS to bring stuffed animals along on our walks... I guess he gets bored without his "friends". Usually he brings his two besties tigger and pooh. :)

Lesson learned... koolaid is not a parents friend. Can
you say sugar rush?? |

Mr. Classy keeping it real. I told him "Take that finger
out of your nose!" So he... |

| ...sweetly put it in his mouth. |
One of my least favorite things about fall is the shorter days. The only plus to that is that we're able to take before bedtime walks with Jace in the dark again. Jace loves walking in the darkness because he can point out the moon and the lights and the stars. Jace loves taking family walks because then he can get out of the stroller for a bit and walk on his own.
Alot of times our walks will bring us to the neighborhood playground, where Jace enjoys playing.
We went to the Pumpkin Patch a couple of weekends ago. Jace loved all the fun kid activities they had, as well as the hayride, the corn maze, and the animal farm. One of my favorite things about fall is going to Pumpkin Patches and having treats like hot apple cidar or hot cocoa. Except I didn't realize it was different in South Carolina! Instead it was a perfect 80 degree day so our treat at the farm was a shared ice cream cone instead. :)
Other than that, we've just been ejoying being outside in the backyard, or feeding the ducks at the pond out back. The only problem Jace has with feeding the ducks is that he sometimes helps himself to a couple bites of "duck food". The kid can't resist carbs :)

We've got so much coming up in the next few weeks, I'll be sure to keep more up to date on the blog posts here. We'll be celebrating our little guys birthday soon, I can't believe it! We will also be visiting "home" in a couple of weeks, so we're really looking forward to that as well. Here are a few more random pictures I've been taking this fall...

Cannot even explain Jace's love for greek yogurt.
He has a specific "yogurt face" that I can't capture on
camera but it's priceless! |

Loving the fact that it's still beach weather in October, we just went this
past weekend and Jace had a blast playing in the water with Tate. |
